WE HAVE BEEN SO BUSY!

SORRY IT HAS TAKEN ME SO LONG TO POST, BUT OUR LIFE HAS BEEN BUSY LATELY. TWO WEEKENDS AGO WE WENT TO UTAH TO HELP MY SISTER AND HER FAMILY. THEY ALREADY LIVED HERE, BUT ALL THERE STUFF WAS IN STORAGE IN UTAH. WE WENT DOWN ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AND HELPED. IT WAS GREAT WEATHER AND ACTUALLY QUITE FUN TO BE HONEST. JARED HAD TO WORK, BUT HALLE AND I WENT TO HELP. THAT NIGHT, WE WENT TO DINNER AND THEY GOT ALL OF US ROOMS TO STAY IN. THE NEXT DAY WE CAME HOME AND HELPED THEM MOVE IT IN.. EXTREMELY SORE AFTER THAT ONE.

STARTING THE ROAD TRIP, I ACTUALLY DROVE, NIKI SAT IN THE BACK WITH THE KIDS, AND TROY SLEPT UP FRONT! GOOD KIDS-LOVE THEM!

DON'T FORGET MERLIN. HE ACTUALLY RAN AWAY AT THE HOTEL THAT NIGHT. I RAN OUTSIDE TO FIND HIM. AS I WALKED UP TO PERFECT STRANGERS IN THE PARKING LOT WHILE IT WAS PITCH BLACK, THEY THOUGHT I WAS NUTS. THEN I ROUNDED A CORNER AND FELL ON THE ICE. I AM SURE WATCHING IT WAS PRICELESS, HOWEVER; MY HIP WASN'T PRETTY AFTER THAT ONE.

HALLE'S SLEEPING ACCOMODATIONS-SHE LOVED IT! WE ENJOYED OUR FIRST GIRL'S NIGHT AWAY FROM HOME. MANY MORE TO COME!

AS YOU CAN SEE, THE HOTEL ROOM WAS NICE AND FUN. HOWEVER, HALLE GETS TO WATCH HER SHOWS, HENCE MICKEY ON THE TV. OH WELL!
IT WAS A LONG TRIP HOME, CARAVANING WITH THE UHAULS!

THIS PAST WEEKEND. MY STEP BROTHERS AND SISTERS SUFFERED A GREAT TRAGEDY. THEIR STEP FATHER WAS KILLED TRAGICALLY IN AN AVALANCHE IN ALPINE WYOMING. HE DIED ALONG WITH 2 OTHER FRIENDS, ONE MORE WENT BUT WAS ABLE TO GET OUT. LAST NIGHT WAS THE VIEWING AND WE WENT TO SHOW OUR LOVE AND SUPPORT. THEN COME TO FIND OUT, MY 4TH GRADE TEACHER, MRS. PAM CARTWRIGHT, HAS BEEN SICK FOR A LONG TIME AND PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY ON MONDAY. I WILL BE GOING UP TO HER VIEWING ON FRIDAY WITH MY MOM AND STEP-FATHER. SO, THAT HAS KEPT US VERY BUSY ALSO. WHAT A TRAGEDY FOR THE WHOLE COMMUNITY! OTHER THAN THAT, JUST BUSY!

I heard about the avalanche.. give them my sympathy.. Your step sibling's mom was my 3rd grade teacher... I think they bought our old house too. Anyway.. my heart pours out to them and all touched by this tragedy!
